SSM Health Urgent Care

I go to SSM Health Urgent Care North OKC) when I have acute medical needs. Today, I made an appointment and arrived at the clinic for a minor medical issue. The staff was quite pleasant and professional. The nurse practitioner, Priya John, was very delightful, knowledgeable, and helpful. I had a positive experience and I appreciate that. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this facility and it’s staff for your urgent care needs.

Absolutely terrible. I took my wife today after days of being the sickest she’s ever been, and the doctor that saw her completely disregarded both her chart and any of the symptoms she mentioned. Rushed her through the appointment and did not listen to her at all, and sent her out without any advice or medication. Don’t bother yourself with coming here and go see people who care about their job.

I was treated really badly by the receptionist that was there earlier this morning. She forced words into my mouth and prevented me from explaining my situation. She stated things that upset me, like asking why I didn't have a provider and telling me that I really ought to acquire one. I informed her that I will be seeing a new physician in January. She continued, "You should have one." It's not as though I can see my provider in January by jumping ahead in time. This year, I finally got insurance; not everyone is as lucky to locate a provider so rapidly. I exited the urgent care center in tears!!! I regret to say that I will never return, and that her nasty attitude could potentially run patients away. Hope you have the day you deserve mam. Never ever in my life have I ever been treated so poorly by a healthcare worker. If you don’t like people please don’t work in the medical field. I went to the urgent care in Edmond and they took great care of me. Thank god I interacted with people who actually care about others.

Went in with minor symptoms, none of which were an emergency, and was told to go to the ER despite them doing nothing beyond taking heart rate. Having family members in the medical field, this suggestion was absolutely laughable and we went to the Mercy Urgent Care Clinic up the street. Save yourself some time and avoid this clinic!

Upon entering this establishment in which I’ve been numerous times due to my PCP moving sites or having me go to others when I’m needed to be seen earlier than she can. I immediately was serviced by the receptionist to sign my papers an then was called to the back for my 09:00 am appt upon entering room 1 near the nursing/staff station i was greeted with a African American staff employee today she asked her questions and took my vitals she then proceeded asking one question which was “how long has the symptoms occurred” after giving my answer which she then made a face in disgust, concern or judgmental to my knowledge i work in health care so i took it as judgement. whom ever can take it how you’d like if you’d been there of in which that really offended me and she proceeded to say “You’ve been having these symptoms for a ********?” In which i confirmed that to her once again. After all was said she closed the door and left out the while sitting there waiting for the physician/NP I over heard someone stating “Yes she said she’s been having symptoms for a ***** and she’s just now coming to be seen” and again the tone i took it as was judgement. people are coming here for treatment not to be judged by miserable OLD healthcare workers to me it was very offensive and after i was seen by the on shift NP in which she asked questions and answered all questions asked about my health she left and showed me out after my appt and upon leaving going up to reception i then asked the receptionist was there any number or way i could have the cooperates number or information to file a complaint she then got up and informed the manager “Terra” of the situation after Terra pulled me into a room to speak to me after she asked what happened she was very dismissive, grinning and making assumptions of her own on the fact of me not being sane or understanding and knowledgeable on what i ACTUALLY HEARD also informed me that she would call me right after she spoke to her and it’s now 01:26pm after calling back about me not receiving a call the receptionist dismissed me off the phone. Service was great but i don’t appreciate being discussed right outside my dam door like im nothing or being dismissed like im a child and lied to by someone claiming there management.
